For those feeling creative, our Creative Engagement offers daily adult-friendly art and nature activities like pottery, watercolor, and paint-by-number. To help you Refresh & Recharge, enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, fruit, snacks, and cozy reading nooks. You'll also have the option for Shared Experiences, bonding with your child through artistic discoveries and workshops. And for our multitasking parents, we offer the convenience to Work from 'camp' with provided WiFi, charging stations, and quiet indoor spaces. Finally, to ensure you can fully relax, we'll capture Keepsake Memories with digital photos of your child, provided privately for you to cherish.

For Children

Each day at our camp is a new adventure, where we'll dive into a specific theme and often "travel" through art to discover nature inspired art and their creators from around the world. While our activities are suggested by age, we encourage children to follow their passions and skills when choosing projects. Want to buddy up with a friend or sibling of a similar age? Just let us know during registration!

Sample Projects & Activities (not exhaustive)

  1. Children will learn about Jackson Pollock (and other artists) and have the opportunity to create art inspired by his paint splatters.

  2. Animal Encounters: We’re bringing the animals to you! Discover live reptiles and birds, while learning about their habitats! Project options may include: rainforest diorama (Ages 6-8), painting wooden snakes (Ages 3-5) in their habitats, and all-ages collage habitat study.

  3. Monet's Water Lilies: We're off to Giverny, France, to learn about French Impressionist Claude Monet and his iconic "Water Lilies" through an immersive sensory experience. Then, each child will create their own artwork, adding their unique artwork to a beautiful collaborative community masterpiece.

  4. Calling all Makers! Become a bee protector! Learn about gentle mason bees and why they're super pollinators. Then, get hands-on building your choice of either creating a cozy habitat for a mason bee, or painting a plant pot to hold plants best of pollination. Help these amazing bees thrive in your backyard. (Parents can join in on these fun projects as well).

  5. Terrarium Time!- Let's create a miniature garden! We'll layer soil, rocks, add little plants and decorative elements to build a self-contained ecosystem. This is a fantastic way to learn how nature works, while adding in some artistic arrangement, resulting in a unique living artwork. This is perfect for older children, and is also tailored for the littles.

  6. Art-Based Tinkergarten Children dive into themed, sensory, open-ended art experiences, embracing the joy of making and doing through Process Art Play. Imagine your children cooking with mud and flowers in our reimagined communal mud kitchens, seasoning their creations with crushed leaf remnants. Our outdoor art experiences spark creativity through themed, sensory Process Art Play. Children enjoy mud kitchens, clay, painting tree branches, and hands-on exploration.

  7. Unstructured Exploration: Enjoy free play on our play structures.

  8. Water Play (weather permitting)- For those days when we need to beat the heat, we'll have sprinklers and themed water tables perfect for cooling off.

    1. Do grownups have to stay for the entire camp? Drop-off options are only available for children ages 6-8. Otherwise, you are required to stay on-site with your child for the duration of the experience.

    2. Do I need to bring art supplies? No, registration covers all the necessary art-making and sensory materials.

    3. Will the camp still run if it rains? Yes, the camp will be held rain or shine. We have indoor options available to ensure a fun experience regardless of the weather

    4. Will there be camp counselors? Yes, our wonderful camp counselors will be on hand to guide activities and support the children (and their grown-ups).

    5. Do parents need to actively supervise their children? Our counselors are trained to supervise and guide the children through the activities. However, we recognize that especially for younger children, there may be times when they feel more comfortable or secure with the input or presence of their caregivers.

Therefore, while active supervision by parents isn't required for the safety and execution of the activities, we welcome your support in those moments when your child might seek your reassurance or assistance.

    6. Is your camp insured? Yes, the Treehouse Art Studio (and its camp) is fully insured.

    7. What is your policy on potty training? For younger children who are not yet fully potty trained, we ask that their accompanying grownup be readily available to assist them with their needs. Our counselors are there to facilitate activities, and direct personal care like diaper changes remains the responsibility of the grownup.

    8. What kind of clothing should we wear? We will be using washable paint, but clothes can still get messy! We recommend dressing in comfortable play clothes that you don't mind getting a little artistic. We will have smocks available, or, you may choose to bring an old T-shirt for your child.

    9. Should we bring a change of clothes? Yes, we highly recommend bringing a change of clothes for your child (and maybe even yourself!) for the ride home in case of messy masterpieces or water play.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
